Lucy Schappy is a Vancouver Island artist whose contemporary, bright works reflect her optimistic outlook on life. After studying dentistry, Lucy rediscovered her love for creation and began to pursue her passion of painting in 2000. Lucy captures the positive, simple aspects of life that make it so wonderful. Her pieces have been shown all over the world, and Tulipe Noire is overjoyed to showcase her artwork.
IRMA SOLTONOVICH ART
Irma Soltonovich was born in Saskatchewan and carries visions of the prairies with her in all her work. She earned her degrees in Art and Art Education, but did not return to painting full time until 2002. Since then, she has made her living as a full time artist.
PHYLLIS SEROTA
Phyllis Serota is a painter living in Victoria, BC. She graduated with her BFA from UVic and has shown her art extensively throughout Western Canada and the united States since 1977.
bill porteous
Bill Porteous has created and taught art for 46 years. He began his formal art education at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles where he achieved his Masters of Fine Arts in Painting.
meg dillard
Meg Dillard is an artist and architect from East Tennessee. She began painting from an early age; having taken after her mother Joy McGinnis who is also an accomplished artist. Meg received her degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her eye for design and structure is evident through her artwork - she even designed her own home! Meg currently resides in Franklin, TN with her family.
